Position Summary:
Landscape Design professional with three to five (3-5) years’ experience on the path to professional licensure. Assist the design team with the preparation of conceptual plans, detailed design documents, planting plans, construction documents, and presentation graphics and materials for the design of various design and construction projects.
Essential Functions:
Perform assignments with limited direction under general supervisor of a Project Landscape Architect, Project Manager, or other professional.
- Prepare and modify landscape architectural documents ensuring alignment with design intent and firm standards.
- Produce high-level graphic presentations.
- Develop and initiate solutions to technical and design problems.
- Performs product research; assists other Landscape Designers and Project Landscape Architects with material selection and system research.
- Assist team in the construction administration phase.
- Assist in managing client expectations and maintaining a commitment to design excellence.
- Prepare detailed landscape and hardscape plans.
- Perform site analysis.
- Assists in the development of construction cost estimates.
- Collaborates with and coordinates design with architectural team and engineering professionals on a range of complex multi-disciplinary projects.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- Three to five (3-5) years of post-college experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-Up
- Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong freehand sketching and rendering skills
